Financial Support
We believe and experience God’s movement in Baja, Mexico nearly every day. We witness countless Mexican nationals recognizing their role within global missions. Our local church in Baja yearns to motivate all Latin Americans toward reaching the unreached. With our unique relationship with the local church, all of our students and staff work and serve within the larger Church to fulfill God’s Great Commission. It’s just that we do it in Spanish!

We receive many requests regarding what we need both for our ministry and Baja campus. We rely entirely on those who give generously. Below are some categories that will better direct your desire to give:
Property
We believe a piece of property will become available for purchase in the near future. The location is ideal as it is across from the church building we utilize for classrooms and next to the lot owned by a staff family of Ventana Ministries. This lot would enable future growth that fits within our long-range plan for future dorms, multi-purpose room, dining commons, and study lounge. We believe the lot will sell for $35,000 US.
Vehicles
With over 300 students coming each Spring for short-term mission trips, road trips to various construction sites and outreaches we are always in need of vans and work trucks. We could also utilize a small economical car when we make runs to the border for mail and other items. With our dusty, pot-holed roads in our little hamlet, the vehicles are always in need of repairs. If you have mechanical experience in this area we’d be grateful.

Volunteering
- Does your church have a men’s group that loves adventure and service?
- Perhaps you are part of a small group at your church and yearn to do something outrageous?
- Does your church need an entry-level mission experience for youth or adults?
At Ventana Ministries we have ample opportunities to address specific needs within your church body. If you want adventure, with some service projects thrown in, we can give you everything from horseback riding in the vineyards, to trap shooting at the range. If your group wants to interact with underprivileged children and the marginalized, we can assist in connecting you with some amazing orphanages. If you have a youth group that needs an added layer of maturity and a better understanding of missions, have them participate in our Camp Ventana program.
Simply put, our facilities and location can accommodate just about anything!
Service Projects
There are a number of service projects that your church could tackle to help Ventana:
- new aluminum roofs for dorms and dining facilities
- construct patio covers
- building a laundry and storage facility
- building a BBQ and patio area for guest groups
- completion of church multi-purpose building (plumbing and finishing work)
- complete cabinetry and flooring for missionary home
